Gratitude is Good

I am grateful. Mmmm, that feels good to say. It opens me up. Just saying those three words begins to create a swell in my chest. It begins to release the grudge I’m holding in this moment about all the things that are not perfect in my life right now, and all the ways in which I am not perfect. I talk about food a lot on this blog. The importance of a healthy diet, the benefits of discipline, and the ramifications of straying. Today I came across a blog of a nutritional counselor who spoke of a book called Integrative Nutrition by Joshua Rosenthal. My life is in flux right now, and as such, I am particularly attuned to messages from the universe about which direction to move – literally and figuratively. Below is a literal one – an article that just found its way to me via a thoughtful colleague who sent me the link.
