Dr. Terry Wahls is the ultimate example of someone who refused to be a victim. When her secondary progressive MS confined her to a wheelchair, she didn’t give up or accept her “fate.” Instead, she started researching. She dove into the medical literature and discovered that certain nutrients were important to brain health.
She started taking those nutrients in supplement form and began to notice her decline slowing, but then she had an epiphany. What if she could get those same nutrients from the food she ate?
That’s when it clicked for her, and the Wahls Protocol was born. Her new hunter-gatherer based diet led to her ditching her wheels and walking without a cane within a year.
Pretty cool, huh?
Now, Dr. Wahls is dedicated to teaching, lecturing, and researching the benefits of eating for health. If you’re on my email list, then you got my message this morning about the upcoming FREE webinar Dr. Wahls and I will be presenting together, exclusively for readers of The Self-Healing Coach.
